I'm always loosing somebody i love. I am sad but when I look at this flower, it just gives me hope, it fills me with life. Something so simple can make me so happy.
Yep, that's a great picture; the red against the green, complimenting each other as only nature can. Simplicity is the essence of good design. Just improvise, adapt, and overcome, David.
It is a beautiful picture. It's amazing how something so simple can be so inspiring to us, each in our own way. I don't know what your schedule is like, but figured I'd mention it; the Gloucester County Art League meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Gloucester County Library in Mullica Hill. I am by far the youngest one there, and they really need some young blood in the group (though I haven't been for several months, but I don't think things have changed). Anyhow, they really love photography. and one of the participating members is Bob Reid. He is GCC's photography professor. He is so nice and helpful, and may be able to suggest some other outlets of showing your work. Just a thought, either way, best of luck to you on your journey.
